How It Works
Credits are WebsiteFair's internal currency. They make purchasing faster and give sellers a flexible earning system.
What Are Credits?
Credits are WebsiteFair's prepaid digital currency. Buyers purchase credit packages with real money, then use credits to buy products on the marketplace. This system enables instant transactions without repeated payment processing.

For Buyers
- •Buy credit packages from your Dashboard → Buy Credits page.
- •Credits are added instantly after payment verification.
- •Use credits to purchase any product that has credits enabled.
- •Credits never expire — they remain in your account until used.
- •Refunds on digital goods are credited back as credits, not cash.
For Sellers
- •When a buyer purchases your item with credits, you earn those credits.
- •Convert earned credits to USD from your Rewards page at the current pool rate.
- •Minimum conversion: 300 credits (configurable by admin).
- •The USD conversion rate fluctuates based on the platform's credit pool.
- •You can also use earned credits to buy other products on the platform.
The Credit Pool
The credit pool is a USD reserve that backs credit-to-USD conversions. When buyers purchase credit packages, a portion of that USD goes into the pool. When sellers convert credits to USD, they withdraw from this pool at the current rate.
How the rate works: The conversion rate = (Pool USD Balance) ÷ (Total Credits in Circulation). As more buyers deposit and fewer sellers withdraw, the rate increases. This creates a self-balancing economy.
Important Notes
- ⚠Credits are non-refundable for cash once purchased (except where required by law).
- ⚠The credit-to-USD rate is not guaranteed and may change.
- ⚠Credits transferred to the reward pool cannot be returned to personal accounts.
- ⚠WebsiteFair reserves the right to adjust minimum conversion thresholds.
