Review & Approval

Our quality team reviews every submission to maintain marketplace standards.

Every product submitted to WebsiteFair goes through a manual quality review before it appears on the marketplace. This process protects buyers and ensures that every item listed meets our baseline standards for functionality, security, and presentation.

What Our Team Checks

  • Functionality: The product must work as described in the stated environments (browsers, OS versions, frameworks).
  • Code quality: No obfuscated malicious code, no hardcoded credentials, and no dependency on abandoned or vulnerable packages.
  • Originality: The submission must be your own work. GPL-licensed derivatives must be clearly disclosed.
  • Documentation: A basic README or setup guide must be included.
  • Thumbnail quality: Preview images must accurately represent the product and meet our resolution requirements.

Review Timeline

Most submissions are reviewed within 1–3 business days. You will receive an email notification when your item is approved, rejected, or requires changes.

Common Rejection Reasons

  • Broken demo or non-functional core features
  • Low-resolution or misleading thumbnails
  • Missing or incomplete documentation
  • Duplicate of an existing listing
